At the end of January 2018 we experienced a powerful lunar event and the energy that was brought with it is having some powerful effects on all of us.  This powerful lunar event included, a full moon, a blue moon, a super moon and a magical lunar eclipse creating a blood moon.

• What is a blue moon?  A full moon is known as a blue moon when it is the second full moon in a calendar month
• What is a super moon? A super moon occurs when the moon is closer to the earth on it’s orbit.
• What is a blood moon? A total lunar eclipse is sometimes called a Blood Moon, because of the reddish tinge the Full Moon takes on when fully eclipsed. A total lunar eclipse happens when the Moon travels through the Earth’s shadow and blocks all direct sunlight from illuminating the Moon’s surface. However, some sunlight still reaches the lunar surface indirectly, via the Earth’s atmosphere, bathing the Moon in a reddish, yellow, or orange glow.

The combination of all of these lunar events has created an energetic shift for all of us.  It has ushered in a wave of feminine energy. With this feminine energy comes new ways of being, new ways of living in this world.  It has begun to dismantle the old paradigms of masculine energy and for those of us who have been using masculine energy to run our lives, it may feel as if our world is falling apart.

The masculine energy of pushing, forcing, having a plan and driving towards it will no longer work for you, even if this way of living and being has always worked for you in the past. If you continue to use this energy to run your life you will feel as if you are fighting an uphill battle.  It will be a struggle and it will drain your energy at a rate you have never experienced before.  It will leave you feeling depleted and exhausted.  Things will no longer work as they used to.  The universe has ushered in this massive wave of feminine energy to assist us, to get our attention.  It is showing us that there is a new path to explore.  A new energy to play with.

The masculine energy is an outward flowing energy and now it is time to reverse the polarity and begin welcoming energy inwards.

The feminine energy is about receiving, about allowing, about going with the flow and not needing a plan, not needing to know.

If you are like me and have operated in the field of masculine energy for most of your life, this can be really difficult and at time highly frustrating as it feels unproductive.  It feels as if you are sitting around and waiting with nothing happening.

You are more than likely an amazing giver.  You are aware of other people’s needs and you are consistently giving and sharing. This way of being creates energy that flows outwards and you may even be feeling a bit resentful towards those that you are consistently giving to you, as you don’t seem to receive anything in return.

Now is the time to begin reversing the polarity of the energy.

With the energetic shifts that have begun occurring, you will no longer be able to do things how you have done in the past. The feminine energy that is coming through is here to highlight where you have not been allowing energy to flow inwards, where you have been resisting receiving and being supported.

What I can recommend is for you to use this time to let go of needing to know.  Let go of needing to push to achieve.  Instead, start to welcoming energy inwards.  Become more aware of opportunities to receive, to allow energy to flow inwards, so that you feel supported, and you feel nourished. Take more time to connect with yourself and to understand what you need, what you desire and what your energy feels like.  The clearer you can be about this, the more things will begin flowing magically into your life.

Some things to consider:

• What does receiving mean for you?
• How will you know when you are receiving?
• Do any thoughts or judgments come up when you think about receiving – such as guilt, or that you will be a burden on others.

With each opportunity to receive, energy will surface which will highlight how you have been operating from the masculine energy and each of these will be an opportunity for you to heal, for you to let go of old paradigms and energy patterns, and to welcome the gorgeous, loving, accepting and allowing energy of the feminine.

Feel the energy of receiving

As you begin to change your energy pattern, it is really important for you to take time to focus on how the energy of receiving feels.  How it flows inwards.  How it rests within your body and your cells.

The more you can allow and really feel this energy flowing inwards, the more you will be able to embrace the feminine energy and begin to create a balance between the masculine and feminine energy.

It is a wonderful time, and the feminine energy holds within it, it’s own amazing power and strength.

Embrace the softness. Embrace the vulnerability. I believe in you.
