Strategy as Your Reset Key
June’s a crossroads—winter blankets the Southern Hemisphere, summer blazes in the North. Whether you’re sipping tea by a fire in Melbourne or soaking up sun in Manchester, it’s a prime time to reset. As a Leadership & Human Design Consultant—and a Projector—I’ve seen how our “not-self” (those misaligned states like bitterness or frustration) drags us down. But here’s the magic: your Human Design Strategy can clear it, fast. This isn’t just about spotting the “not-self” (see that post here if you’re new)—it’s about using your Type’s unique reset button to reclaim your energy.
Strategy is your design’s how-to—Manifestors inform, Generators respond, Projectors wait for an invitation. When you follow it, the “not-self” fades. Winter’s hush or summer’s buzz amplifies this reset, wherever you are. This June, let’s explore a Human Design strategy reset to clear your energy, with tips for each Type and a BG5 leadership twist. I’ll share how my Projector Strategy saved my winter, too. Not sure of your Type? Grab your chart below—let’s dive in and realign!
Why Strategy Clears the Not-Self
The “not-self” is your Type’s red flag—anger for Manifestors, bitterness and exhaustion for Projectors like me—signaling you’re off your path. Strategy is the antidote. It’s not fluffy; it’s your built-in way to flow, not fight. Manifestors reset by informing, shedding anger; Generators respond, ditching frustration. When you stray—say, a Projector pushing uninvited—energy clots. Strategy unclogs it.
June’s seasons supercharge this—winter’s quiet (South) invites reflection to realign, summer’s light (North) fuels action to reset. I’ve coached clients who’ve flipped burnout to brilliance with Strategy, and I’ve felt it myself—more on that later. In BG5, it’s a leadership hack: aligned Strategy clears your “not-self,” lifting your team, too. This isn’t a repeat of spotting signs or resting (we’ve covered those)—it’s about actioning your design to reset. Below, I’ll unpack each Type’s Strategy, how it clears their “not-self,” and a June tip, winter or summer. Let’s harness your Human Design strategy reset!
Resetting with Strategy by Type
Here’s how each Type’s Strategy clears their “not-self” this June, with a seasonal tip and BG5 leadership twist:
Manifestor/Innovator
- Signpost: Anger—when resisted or stifled.
- Strategy: Inform—tell others before acting to free your flow.
- Reset: Anger clogging you? Inform one person—plan a winter shift (South) or summer goal (North). Resistance melts, energy returns.
- BG5 Leadership Twist: Inform your team of a move—anger fades, they align (e.g., “I told them my vision—they ran with it”).
Generator/Classic Builder & Manifesting Generator/Express Builder
- Signpost: Frustration—from forcing or over-yes-ing.
- Strategy: Respond—wait for life to spark you, then act.
- Reset: Frustrated? Pause—respond to a an invite or external prompt that lights you up or that calls to you. Frustration lifts, vitality flows.
- BG5 Leadership Twist: Respond to team needs—not force—energy soars (e.g., “I answered a call—they felt my buzz”)
Projector/Adviser (Me!)
- Signpost: Bitterness/Exhaustion—pushing uninvited drains.
- Strategy: Wait for the Invitation—act when recognised.
- Reset: Bitter? Stop—wait for a winter ask (South) or summer nod (North). Rest, then shine—exhaustion fades.
- BG5 Leadership Twist: Wait, then guide—your team leans in (e.g., “I waited—they valued my clarity and insight”).
Reflector/Evaluator
- Signpost: Disappointment—rushing clouds your mirror.
- Strategy: Wait a Lunar Cycle—sample over 28 days.
- Reset: Disappointed? Slow down—watch winter skies (South) or summer vibes (North) for a few days. Calm resets your glow.
- BG5 Leadership Twist: Sample, then lead—your team trusts your calm (e.g., “I waited—they followed my lead”).
BG5: Leading with Strategy to Reset
Your Human Design strategy reset clears your “not-self” and boosts leadership. In BG5, Strategy aligns teams:
- Manifestor/Innovator: Informing resets—launch a team idea, anger lifts, they ignite (e.g., “I informed—they executed”).
- Generator/Classic Builder & Manifesting Generator/Express Builder: Responding resets—answer a team need, frustration fades, they thrive (e.g., “I responded—they soared”).
- Projector/Adviser: Waiting resets—guide when asked, bitterness drops, they listen (e.g., “I waited for the invitation—they shifted”).
- Reflector/Evaluator: Waiting a cycle resets—reflect, disappointment eases, they unite (e.g., “I sampled—they aligned”).
A Manifestor client reset by informing her team—anger vanished, and they nailed a deadline. Winter’s depth or summer’s spark—Strategy works globally.
A Human Design strategy reset clears your “not-self”—winter’s calm or summer’s buzz makes it potent this June. As a Projector, I reset last winter by waiting—bitterness faded when a client invited my input, and I flowed. Whether you’re informing, responding, or waiting, Strategy realigns you. Try it—feel the shift.
What’s your Type? How’s your Strategy clearing during this June—winter quiet or summer light?
